Dr. Junlai Zhang is a postdoctoral researcher at the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health, Heidelberg University. Dr. Zhang's research focuses on development economics and health economics. He co-developed a set of 10 well-being indicators, including Healthy Lifetime Income and co-leads the Global Wellbeing Economics Lab. His work has been recognized by the Barry Richmond Scholarship Award (2023) and the Ernst Mach Grant (2022). His recent research has been accepted for publication in Nature Health.
